I live not far away from a large (cheap) apartment complex. Stuck on the major road behind a school bus one day, the elementary school munchkins were definitely not asian, white or black, but Hispanic. And each mom there to meet the bus was escorting about three or four little ones and speaking Spanish to them, so I have to assume the kids were all anchor babies, those we educate for free, and give breakfast and lunch at school, plus give the families medical services and other social services at taxpayer expense.
Even the grocery I can walk to is more of a Hispanic market than an American supermarket as few speak English and I don't speak Spanish.
I don't care where anyone is from, but I care deeply that they came legally, like my relatives. But according to statistics I have read the majority of those here illegally came from Latin America, with around 50 percent from Mexico.
We really need to secure the borders, figure out who is here and vet them before there is any discussion of comprehensive immigration reform.
