Be advised you have entered the home of the freedom loving American. You are welcome here so long as you treat all whom you meet in this town hall as a brother or sister. Here there is no race, no gender, no lower-middle-upper class, and no political partisanship. Only family.
No one voice here will be any louder than another, and everyone has something to contribute.
One simple rule: Be respectful to all whom you meet here.
We are not all from the same walk of life, the same educational background, or the same cultural vein, but we all have a common cause.
Disagreement is acceptable but argument is not. Failure to follow this one rule will earn you banishment from the family.
Obscene or vulgar language will not be tolerated. Don't expect tolerance of inappropriate behavior here. There will be no "time-outs" handed down to chasten the unruly. This is a serious issue we are attempting to address, and as such expect a "one-and-done" code of ethics to be applied.
This meeting place is provided as a tool to educate and inform, and hopefully will become a place where new friendships are forged.
It bears mention that as with most internet tools, there are those of all ages who seek out sources of learning for a variety of reasons and will find their way to our online community. Please be ever vigilant to make sure facts presented here are valid, and that content is worthy of review before the eyes of our children. Most among us value our children above all else, and so let us all consider the example we set by our words and deeds.
Mindful that knowledge is power, and the pen indeed mightier than the sword, let's get to work educating one another and unite as one voice against the enemies of the United States of America; not the least of which being the one named ignorance.
We all must work diligently if we are to maintain the freedoms which have been handed down to us by those who have gone before us. It has been said that anything worth having is worth working for, so let's get to work!
As this town hall is a work in progress please be patient, and feel free to submit suggestions for improvements. Little by little things will fall into place.
Mr. TEA
