I am not sure if I like this forum yet...I'm a little confused on how it works. (Maybe it's just me!) Anyway, I am wondering if there is anyone organizing support for the 2010 elections. We need to know who is running and where they stand. We need to be active and make sure we really push the right person and "get out the vote"! (to quote Mr. Obama) We can be the grassroots for the right person but it has to get organized and soon. Does anyone know what is going on? As far as I can tell we do need to get Burr re-elected. At least he will answer my mail with some kind of sense. Anything we should be aware of as far as Burr?

Welcome to the forum cindy! The forum is not really complicated, but it takes a little time to figure out all the features and the hierarchy.
I agree that we need to get focused on the next election cycle, and I'll be interested in reading the replies to your question.
I'm going to move your topic over to the "other issues" category where it will get more views from outside the "Piedmont" regional category.

Hi, I was a little concerned on this site at first too because I don't know all the Amendments and such although I have been trying to get more educated on that lately! I do like the layout on this site and as you can see have been posting like a madwoman! I can't always do that, but today is a slow day for me!
Glad you mention the 2010 elections. It's good to have that to look forward to.
I was searching around a little and only found this link:
It has some info about 2010, so I need to do some reading! I would like to know of some other sites though, so hopefully others can post more info on here about it! I have been reading about Mitt Romney, but I have no idea who the potential candidates are?
