Jerome Corsi wrote a book called "The Late Great USA", which is one of the more terrifying reads I have had lately. The EU started out quite innocently as a trade agreement over coal, and now we have NAFTA, CAFTA, Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) as well as the Mexican truck program trying to put US truckers out of business. With the EU, laws of some countries did not match others, so the EU came into being to supercede national laws. We even seem to be going down the path to the International courts putting our Supreme Court out of business.
