PostSubject: Education Groups unite to fight budget cuts   Tue Jun 16, 2009 10:17 am

I'm posting this info to help out the kids and Teachers:

With just one month until a new state spending plan is supposed to be completed, education officials say lawmakers need to reconsider proposed cuts to schools.

How you can help..

Go to Click on the Advocacy tab then click on Take Action. Click on Elected Officials. Go toward the bottom and put in your zip code and hit go. Another screen may come up asking for more
address information. Click on your NC Representative or Senator. When their profile comes up, click on contact and then click on their email address.

This will allow you to email them directly. You will have to follow these steps for each representative and senator.

Thank you for supporting our students, teachers and education.
